Nope, if anything, it'll mess up the RECORD-over time.
You have to scratch it in the same area though and you'll start to get a 'fuzzy' sound where the scratching mostly takes place on the vinyl.

If this is the way all modern record cutting is done, than the whole point of vinyl being analog is lost. Only old pressings that are well preserved should be the way to go.
I am a Musician, & I learn't Specifically how to Master my own stuff to avoid this God awful nonsense. If you know anyone who needs material Mastered, Let me know & I'll do a 100% Good Job.. And thats a Promice.
I Also Remaster certain old Tracks from the 60's that need a bit of touching up. I Recently did "The Muffin Man" by World of OZ as an example & it came out pretty damn good! PM me if you wana hear it man. :)
